Lightning strike to roof

SERVPRO of Plano was contacted by a homeowner that had suffered a fire during a major Rain and Hail storm.

The lightning had struck the top of her roof line and attic space. Luckily the homeowners were home and called 911 quick enough preventing the fire to spread.

Once SERVPRO arrived onsite work began immediately. We started on getting all of the wet insulation out of the attic space and some walls, Placed some drying equipment and walked the homeowner through the rebuilding process.

SERVPRO of Plano sent out our reconstruction manager he worked up an estimate for the rebuild and sent this to the Insurance adjuster. Once the rebuild estimate is approved by the customers Insurance company work can begin on rebuilding the roof and attic.
